Make ideasmatter.Move people.

I work across engagement, marketing, brand management and research. I'm interested in what happens when a clear idea meets the right people.

A few things about how I see the work

Point of view

Marketing is the meeting point between what you want to say and what people need to hear.

My background crosses engagement leadership, marketing representation, brand management and research. Each role sits in a different context, but they share a common thread: communicating ideas, connecting people and helping work move forward.

I’m drawn to work that starts with curiosity. Who is this for? Why should it matter to them? What would make the message easier to understand, remember or act on? Those are useful questions whether the setting is a brand, a community or a research initiative.

Working principleBe clear about the audience. Be deliberate about the message. Be honest about what the work achieved.

03 / Practice

Three lenses I bring to a brief.

A way of organising the interests that connect the roles—not a claim that every activity has been a standalone client project.

01 / Brand

What do we want to mean?

Shape the story, keep the message consistent, and make the purpose of a brand easier to recognise.

02 / Engagement

Who needs to feel included?

Think about people, touchpoints and participation before deciding what communication should look like.

03 / Research

What should we understand first?

Give questions, information and evidence a clear place in the process before choosing the next move.

04 / Workbench

From the first question to a plan people can act on.

My approach brings the audience, the message and the purpose of the work into focus—then turns that clarity into a practical direction for content, engagement and follow-through.

Campaign planning

Objective / audience / message / action

Start with the purpose behind the campaign and the people it needs to reach. Shape one clear message, decide how each channel supports it, and create a content sequence that moves naturally from attention to understanding and action.

Community & engagement

Listen / invite / respond / learn

Design communication around real participation. Identify the audience and the right touchpoints, make the invitation easy to understand, keep the conversation responsive, and use feedback to strengthen the next interaction.

Question / evidence / meaning / next step

Turn broad questions into manageable research work. Organise the information, separate observations from interpretation, communicate what the evidence does and does not say, and translate useful findings into clear next steps.

Content & brand voice

Point of view / format / rhythm / response

Translate a brand’s value into a recognisable voice across formats. Keep the central message consistent while adapting the story to the audience, platform and moment—so every piece of communication has a clear reason to exist.

05 / Toolkit

Good work has a system behind it.

The tool list is a practical starting point, not a verified skills assessment. Keep the platforms Julius has used or is comfortable learning; remove anything he cannot confidently discuss in an interview.
